  Long wait time, very long at night. . However If a booking has been made for things like the removal of stitches you can be in and out within an hour. Only food available is from vending machines. Mostly Friendly and reassuring staff.

  Hello .................firstly I would like to say THANK-YOU to the Absolutely AMAZING Ambos that Saved me last Saturday 23rd September Long Jetty NSW at approx 6pm .............................after a day of hard work in my backyard I found myself at approx 5pm starting to get some chest pains and jaw pains , I being the big tough male that I am (not) , sayed to my wife not to worry and that I would have a sleep and feel better later, But Im so happy that she didnt listen to me and decided to call the ambos that felt like they were there within what seemed like 1 minute..........then after me laying down in the ambulance with alot of pain , all of a sudden Ive been told I crashed and had a heart attach and they lost me for a a couple of minutes, anyway due to THEIR Absolutely fantastic help Im still here :) ..........after what felt like a 5 second drive from Long jetty to the Gosford hospital Emergency department in ALOT of pain ,(even though I was flat on my back and couldnt see anyone all of a sudden I was greeted what felt like 100 people fixing me and with you all around I felt so safe and ok..I never did get your names But i have to say the way you helped me and comforted me my wife and daughter was nothing short of amazing...Ive always thought that my own self centred job in life was far more important than others jobs BUT You are all truly amazing and I will never complain again about the silly little things in life.................The Ambos ..Emergency staff at Gosford Hospital & The teams in CCU & The Angeo gram section .You are absolutely amazing ........my wife also says Thank-You for the wonderful comforting way you helped her through the situation................with my whole heart ( litterally my whole heart) I THANK-YOU all so much for giving me some more life with my wonderful wife , kids and Grand kids , and I wish you all the success and luck in life you all fully deserve.........With much love and admiration Thank-You from me & my whole family.

  Had occassion to visit recently. It was an emergency situation for my husband. What a pleasant surprise, the hospital appears to be clean, efficient and well run. Staff were all helpful and understanding. You hear a lot of negativity about hospitals, this was not our experience, quite the contrary.

  When my ob/gyn at North Gosford Dr Metawa wasn't interested in helping me, thank goodness the staff at Clinic 66 in Chatswood and the medical professionals at Gosford Hospital later that night were prepared to do so. Thank you for your efforts both in August 2016 and on this repeat occasion, a most saddening ordeal for myself and my entire family.I am grateful you offered me appropriate assistance which is more than what I encountered from a private specialist who prides himself on patient care. Despite this I remain most disappointed with the Gastroenterology Department and a recent appointment with one of the newer specialists which did not go in my opinion smoothly or to my complete satisfaction as a patient returning after 4 years for an automatic recall assessment. I did not appreciate being told that I did not need my procedure to be done unless suffering quite severe symptoms. How is this preventative medicine? A terrible loss to the Dept in the leaving of A/Prof Martin Veysey who would have assisted me without argument or judgement. Complete this with over an hour's wait beyond my scheduled appointment time, I was not pleased in the slightest and wondered why I even bothered to book this importand follow up. Is cost cutting now the reason for not having a patient given a recall colonoscopy? I will consider lodging a complaint very shortly and I look forward to a reply that actually makes sense.
